Verification of work history in PR visa.

Hi, I am Deep from India. I just wanted to know that when we apply for Canada PR visa and we submit all supporting docs like work history etc. Do the immigration team/deptt. verifies those work related documents with the employer I worked with or not?

yeah, if they have any queries they might contact the employer directly. But I doubt if you will ever get the answer for "when will CIC have queries?". You don't need to worry if you submit all the documents diligently as per the requirements.

Yes, they do, most of the time. They also look for business's website on Google, Facebook and LinkedIn. They might also do verification calls as well.

A friend of mine, who is now a PR, worked at a college as an ad-hoc teacher. The university with whom the college was affiliated was called to confirm his employment as well as an email was also sent to the principal of the college, to confirm his employment.

Yes, they do. They tell that they are calling/emailing from the Canadian Embassy/High Commission.
