Verification call from NDVO from MOBILE?

Hi,

I met a fellow applicant yesterday and she told me that she got calls at her institute and then to her mobile from some body who inquired all about her duties, institute timings, salary and all sort of other questions related to her application. They spoke to her for 30 mins.

What is surprising me is that both calls came from Mobile numbers and when I searched in the net, both numbers are of UP circle, from where she belongs. Numbers are +91 9058547267 and +91 9956319262.

Now please share is it possible that NDVO may call from mobile numbers? I doubt it was some body who knows her and her details and just teasing her.

hi I also got job verification calls form Ndvo but I got calls on my office's landline no.she also inquired about my job duties, salary, job timing etc. she also talked to my boss, but I never got any call on my mobile.

No VO will call to applicant if they have queries they will forward it via mail,
they might call to employers in few cases only,

hi, i also got call fm ndvo regarding my medicals n pcc.... number was 011-41782000. i think its landline. one more applicant got call fm same number so ndvo calling fm moblie .. is kind of fishy. regards. boski

No, but the way he asked questions, she says it was from Embassy as otherwise no body will call institute first and then on her mobile.

Personally I feel its not from Embassy as other forum members say, VO always call from landline.

ofcourse...but i donno how take such a fake calls, because i had also same experiecne, some one called me from mobile and enquiring about my job/desginations/duties.... so at the time i gave up some fake information, without knowning them how could i give myself, that too he was actually said, your aunt took loan and she referred your number and onbehalf of insurance company we are calling, i donno whether it is enquirey or Investagation !!!!!!!! ;D .....
