vehicle registration for TFW ( And a CSQ holder)

Short question, can I get a car and register it with no problems in quebec ? And if that's possible, will the registration expire with the expiry date of my work permit ? I have a CSQ and still waiting for buffalo to process my PR application..

Thanks for the reply but you got me all wrong, I'm not importing anything from the US. I just wanna by a car from here (quebec), but I only have a few months left for my work permit, I have a CSQ and waiting for buffalo to process my PR application. So, I'm still driving with an international driver's license and I don't even know if I qualify for having a local one.
Given all the above, do you think I'm allowed to own a car right now, or do I have to wait until a get my PR card and my local driver's license. If I'm allowed to, what will be the expiry date of my car registration papers ?
