Hello everyone and thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
I have several questions and instead of opening a post for each of them, I'll consolidate everything into one post to make it easier to track.
1) I have a applied to extent my visitors visa in Canada but the processing time keeps increasing. It has gone from 137 days to 160 now, my question is: does that time starts to run since the moment you submit your application? Let's say, 160 days since October 5 2015? The site says they are working on applications from July 2015. So my 160 days will start when they reach October? That's an awful lot of time without been able to leave the country.
2) I need to travel to attend some family matters and I'm thinking on applying for a visitors visa from Panama. My mother just came to visit and her processing time was less than 2 weeks (the site says 6 days). Now, with an on going in Canada application and having paid the money already, would it affect it if a apply for a new visa outside of Canada?
3) I recently got married and my wife will sponsor me. We have not submitted an application yet as I'm still gathering documents but, to make things go faster, I did te medical tests in November 2015. It seems like the doctor submitted them directly to CIC but I have no idea how did the turn out and I have no confirmation or results or whatsoever. I only have a sheet with an UMI number. Do I need to provide that sheet when I submit my application? How are they going to match it if I don't have any results sheet to attach? Does my question makes sense or do I need to clarify further?
4) As a Canadian citizen, is it possible to move to USA without a job offer? Does somebody has any information around this? I know being Canadian facilitates a lot of this in the States but is it possible to apply for green card or citizenship by just being Canadian?
Thanks a lot again. You have always been extremely helpful.
