Hey
Can anyone tell me how many days prior to my orientation program I can enter in Canada. Visa approved on 2nd march for May intake. I heard there is some 21 days rule. Is there something like that?
There is no fixed rule as such but general advice is 3-4 weeks before classes start given you need to show can support self financially without working hence 3-4 weeks. If come any earlier just be prepared financially.

Hi, I have for study visa under non SDS category on feb 20th. Medicals was passed on Feb 21st. Got 2 ghost updates on 4th March and 6th March, but no mails. The processing time while I apply was 2 weeks and now it's updated as one week in cic site. It's passes 20 days now no update on my application. Is there anybody who has received their approval or waiting for approval through non SDS category recently? Please share your timeline.

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for your expert opinion for my case.
I am about to finish my PhD program from a Quebec based university in the field of electrical engineering. I also have three years experience in NOC 2133 within the last ten years timeline. Having two kids, we are family of four. I want to know that which PR program (federal, provincial, etc ) is more suitable for me that could result in an expedited outcomes currently. Because right after my graduation I am planning to move out of Quebec. So I want to move to that particular province where PR process could be much faster for me, comparatively.

Your input will be highly appreciated !

I have friend who has been struggling with Canada immigration for years now.
He actually got to Canada through a Master program and got transferred to a PhD program which he is currently in now.

Unfortunately, due his lack of Canada immigration, when he finished his Masters,he went ahead to apply for PGWP afterwards changes his status back to student since he wants to continue with his PhD.
Now he has two different status both PGWP and Student permit. The PGWP lapses May 02, 2020 and Student until when he finishes his PhD program.
Is there any other means he could use to get his PR?

Thanks in advance!

Its around 400.
In that case applying to Express Entry isn't an option - your points are too low. You'll need to look into the provincial programs - good luck.

Which PNP program takes lot of out of Canada applicants with low scores? NOCs are related to 2171, 2173 and 2283

Province of NEW BRUNSWICK, and the three territories of Canada- YUKON, NUNAVUT and NORTHWEST TERRITORIES, DO NOT have any kind of provincial/territorial nominee programmes for International students at present.

Regarding NOVA SCOTIA pathway, how can I get a genuine job offer latter from genuine employers in Canada while in UAE. As read, it mostly benefits those in the country.
Can't they allow someone come to CA search for a job, or apply to them online and so if qualifies for a certain opportunity, they send an offer latter.

Thanks guys.

Hi guys. My coursemate and I have been running an online public forum for Canadian students (both local and international) for a while now; with the aim of connecting all students in Canada to discuss academic and general life issues. The forum is built with lots of unique features that makes it easier for students to use and registration is absolutely free. Pls feel free to join @ studentmatrix.ca
