Vancouver> Toronto (if you earn 30,000 per annum your take home in BC will be approx 1000 greater then take home in ON)

Good Taxes e.g. Sales tax etc
Vancouver> Toronto (ON 13%, BC 12%)

Education
Toronto>Vancouver (More schools, colleges and universities around e.g. U York, Toronto, UWO, U Waterloo, Guelph, McMaster)
(Vancouver SFU, UBC)

Rent
Toronto>Vancouver (Vancouver is has bit higher rent, as you can find cheaper rental property is suburb of Toronto)

Long term prospectus
I will weight some other cities as well

Toronto>Calgary>Alberta>Vancouver

been in Vancouver for a year. As zulkfal said, climate and living conditions are good.

On the other hand, I think Toronto got lot of opportunities and other benefits.

Overall, my preference is Vancouver only if you got good Job or else Toronto is good for searching and to get settled for new Immigrants
