Honestly at this point I'd rather they ask me for fingerprints or whatever, then at least I know something is happening. Right now I am not surprised if one day someone tells me they deleted my file accidentally or the officer handling my file went on leave indefinitely so my file went dormant...

As your Background is completed they won't ask for FP again. You may need some other way for them to look at your file.

I tried everything other than going to a lawyer...at this rate may be when the fed election happens next year and I get a new MP, then I'll have a good chance

I had the same request, did your physical presence got updated yet? I submitted my documents 3 days ago but nothing changed yet

Hi, yes my physical presence has been updated within a week. But still background verification is in progress.

Almost never. There's one time that I got my BG completed when I applied for CSIS notes. However, now looking back, even though BG was completed at that time, I wonder if my security is still in process, because there are signs from what my MP's office is telling me there seems to be another party that IRCC is waiting on, and who know who that party is.

I had a virtual interview with Vancouver office a Mach 18, 2025 but LPP still in-progress, when I called IRCC, they said that LPP was not yet started, I am really fed up
Applied sept 2024, got Aor Oct 2024, Test done Dec 2024, Submitted scanned copy all pages of passport Jan 2025, Citizenship Interview invite to verify identity and documents Feb 2025 , Citizenship Interview March 2025

I think it's a matter of 1 or 2 months. sit tight you will get the good news soon.
