Hi everyone,

I have received a job offer from an employer in Vancouver in the field of Marketing. I am not in Canada. Can someone help in letting me know about the steps required from the employer and myself besides the job offer? does he have to do the LMIA? Where can he fill the application? is there a compliance fee? what else is he supposed to do? I am currently completing the Express Entry application.

Yes - an LMIA is required unless you happen to be American and your job qualifies under NAFTA.

Google "LMIA" to answer the rest of your questions. They are basic and the information is easily found online. If you don't wish to research, then it would be a good idea to hire an immigration lawyer to assist you.
