Vancouver applicants

Has anyone who has submitted their application from Vancouver this year (2018) been invited to their test yet? Or even had their application moved to the 'in process' stage? From the spreadsheet, it seems not? I have a friend, also in Van, who submitted in October 2017 who still hasn't received a test date. Is this office especially busy/slow?

I got my AOR 2nd November 2017, oath on 19 June 2018. Pretty quick..

Thanks! Did you receive your AOR/in process notifications and test/oath invites via email? Or did you just have to keep checking ECAS?

Yeah, email. It's moving along, but there's no doubt a huge backlog they're dealing. I figure they'll get to mine sooner or later.

Hi there,
we have applied on April 2nd week, Documents are reached at Ottawa, (checked on Canada post) but no Acknowledgement (AOR) yet.

I have a question that is, after landing as a PR I have changed my name, and while applied I have added the legal name change certificate. if I have to check the online status what is the last name I have to give? Should it match the pr card name or new name?
