could contact PM to find out current application status

With all the updates from east, I feel we have the slowest office after Calgary and Edmonton lol

Hopefully they start processing applications faster here ...

pls do not hesitate to share info here, guys!
patience is such rare commodity , haha

Guys my application was recvd in Apr'14 then went in-process in May. But then i relocated from Montreal to Vancouver, and updated my new address. I called them and they said they made a note to transfer my file but now i am starting to wonder if CIC Montreal is actually indeed faster. LOL. anyone with similar experience? Good luck to all!

Hi Folks,

My file was transferred to Vancouver on 30 December, I was wondering if anyone knows how long it will take to get a test date (I am a November applicant).

Thanks.

Hi everyone,

My file was also transferred on December 30th to the Vancouver office.

it is shown in ecas.

Is there a line time on eCas that shows the transfer date to local office now? Looks like something new and good that they are putting more information in eCas

I am pretty sure the only people who are able to see the transfer in E-Cas are those that have received an E-mail AOR which and have application numbers in the format C0000XXXXX. This seems to be the new way which CIC is communicating with applicants.

My E-Cas shows a fourth line which says: "Your file was transferred to the Citizenship Vancouver office on December 30, 2014. The Citizenship Vancouver office will contact you."
