Nobody here ever asked the officer during interview that why vancouver applicants arent given oath notice right right away?????????

U4g5 if it's destined for you to become citizen on the day of your test then you will become in that day! You will be suprised how things work mysteriously sometimes!

helloooo Vancouverites!!!

Officially... I'm a Canadian now...

The oath taking ceremony last monday was so great... short & straight forward (less than 2 hrs.) but meaningfull... it's the screening of documents and the picture taking that makes it longer...

The Judge asked each of the oath takers to state their names, one at a time (even my 6 & 8 yr old kids)... that's great so everyone will have the chance to speak and to realy speak during the oath taking...

CIC took our PR Cards... returned our Landing Papers and gave us the Certificate of Citizenship...
next step: Canadian Passport... money again... ;D

My mum took her oath on the 29th Sept in Vancouver and I saw someone with two kids taking the oath. It was totally adorable.

if so, thank you so much...

yes, it will be a memorable day & event for my kids... they experienced to raise their right hand, state their names and take the Oath and shake hands with the judge 'coz i let them walk to the judge to receive their certificates... what is so funny is that my 6 yr old son, after handshaking with the Judge, he asked the Judge: Am I a Canadian already... ;D how i wish somebody recorded that in video...
