Oops, I meant, how can I accesss the spreadsheet that has timeline for various cities? I would like to enter my information as well. Needless to say, I have been waiting for a long time, but NO MOVEMENT at the Surrey office.

So slow.. so quiet..

Other applications from other side of Canada.. are finalized in 4-5 months..

Is this even legit (?)

Lol.. Oh well.. We don't have any right to complain..

Wait.. wait.. wait..

We can only wait.... and wait again.... Its a waiting game and its a pain for Type A person like me coz i know this is something we have no control of.

Enjoy the sun! Le soleil est beau!

Guys my friend recently got her oath invite for May 23rd. She saw online status. She applied in late feb 2013 and went for her citizenship test March 18ish..

My friend applied last December 2013 and recently got a RQ.

@Vancouver2014
Sorry to hear this......Do you know what is his Local Office ? Surrey or Vancouver ? Also was he Self Employed or did he travel a lot during the last 3 years ?

She lives in Burnaby so guessing Vancouver. She had lots of day trips in states and long vacations. She's working full time as well. When she applied, she had 1400 days in total. In the past four years, she had 4 different address. CIC is looking for the rental agreements which she never kept :(

Can we say that those who applied before Dec 2013 and did not get RQ are in a good status?

Friends,

Any thought/feeling about the average period for Vancouver people to have their tests?

She told me that her application is still in Sydney (as per instruction sent to her). She has 45 days to submit the supporting documents.

Probably: most of RQs seem to be given in the early stage, while applications are still in Nova Scotia. However,there is still a final check done by CJ after the citizenship test. I applied in May last year and had a test a month ago. An officer interviewed me and went through my passport stamps. She told me that everything looked good, but a CJ still needs to approve the entire application. So, when the file gets transferred to a local office, it is usually a good sign, but an RQ can come later on too.
