Pleasure. It is just surprising that people from Ontario and elsewhere getting their oath finalized from November thread while Vancouver has no test scheduled for even June/July applicant !!!

I'm a newbie in this forum. Here is my timeline:

1.We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 11, 2013.

2.We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on April 11, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3.We started processing your application on June 17, 2013.

I noticed some of your signature indicates your applicaton have been transferred to local office.

How did you know it? Did you call CIC or such info shown after you logged in "On-Line Services" at CIC website?

Btw, what does "LOT" means in the form?

We sent our applications October 27th.
They returned it back due to my wife's language evidence and my application was ok.

My wife took the test and we refilled out the applications and sent them on March 10th.


April 8th.
They returned our application again due to my language evidence is not acceptable.

Common.
I took ELSA courses and continued to ELS and finished upper advanced english here in VCC. It took 2 years.


I wrote an explanation letter and sent whole packages back again.

I think they want me to take an exam or what?

LOT means Local Office Transfer


You will have to call CIC to find out if your file has been transferred to the Local Office, this information will never appear on your ecas (online)

Hey guys. I thought I'd save this topic from the second page, so I called CIC today. My file has been sent to the Vancouver office! It was sent the beginning of April apparently.

Application Received: December 30, 2013
In Process status: March 05, 2014
AOR with booklet: March 17,2014
The Receive line disappeared on: March 31, 2014
I called them today and they said it was transferred to Vancouver on March 27, 2014
