Did anyone know whether their file is transferred to the local office or not yet?

The only way to know is to call CIC but if you want to be more accurate request a copy based on ATIP, its free.
CIC agents told me our file was transferred on June 2013 to our local office in Surrey. Based on ATIP, they started the process on Aug 2013.

thank you for this thread oct13 ;D

my timeline is:

Application sent: Oct 8, 2013
Application Received: Oct 16, 2013
AOR & Discover Canada: Oct 16, 2013
In Process: Jan 21, 2014

Waiting for the handbook and AOR letter :)
I am joining in tho i wont be able to apply until may. But the tricky part is i have travel plan and it may delay my actual submission time. Was afraid the new legislation will take into full force b4 i can apply, Which will be a HUGE blow

Vancouver office is so quiet.. ;D

while other offices are raining with test & oath notifications..

but weather today is milder :) dry and i can see a little sunshine :) aheheheh

yeah... I will say the weather is really good, whenever it does not rains.....

Apparently it can take up to 10 months after fingerprints submitted to receive a test in Vancouver, anyone had any similar experiences?

Why didnt you submit RCMP finger prints with your application?

It's not required in the application.

thats the problem we r talking about. They should have a clear guideline on who should be given RQ and who should not. They cant blamed the applicants for lack of evidences when they didnt require at the first place

Agreed, it is not required PLUS CIC needs to do the check before the test anyway, so even submitting it they will still need to do a new one before the test...but 10 months that is a lot!!! I hope its just the maximum figure and not the correct one...
