Hello everyone,

I have had my test on July 2nd, and my oath on Sep 15th. My local office is Vancouver.

I have always called CIC call centre to inquire about the status of my application. I ordered the GCMS notes (ATIP) and I found that my call seems to have been crucial. On Aug. 18th I called and I found that there is no update on the test results yet, and the agent said that they will send a note to Vancouver office to remind them to update the case!

Interestingly, I found a note on the GCMS saying that the client called CC on Aug. 18th to inquire about the status, and that "Referral, Case Status-Results, sent to CIC Vancouver". Then on Aug. 22nd, the test results were recorded!

I always try to tell others that calling CIC is important and can help!

One more thing, the person who approved the file and granted the decision is not a judge! She is the officer who interviewed me after the test! Her name is written on the notes!!

Does this mean people who took test after July1st getting approval straight from Officer ?.... Did office said anything about Judge approval after your test?

I am a June test taker and seems like my file waiting for Judge approval . In my case officer said, he going to forward my file to Judge for the approval.

I am not sure about the date. The officer understood the stamps in my language and she did not refer to the translation when she was doing a check on the stamps. So I said that there was no need for me to bring a passport translation then. She said it is good that I brought them because the judge will need them when he reviews the file.

However, it apparently was her decision as I said in the initial post!

Hi,
how many days (business days or calendar days) does it take to get the ATIP?
does atip show each time you call CIC?

Wow i checked the ceremony schedule they added quite a few dates and few more ceremonies in a day! This is a good sign. There were no ceremonies before for Oct 10 and 11 now there is with 2 timeslots for Oct 10, Oct 11 (saturday) with 1 timeslot, Oct 14 used to have 2 slots now its 4 slots, October 17 used to have 1 slot now its 3. Haha It is so obvious that I'm really watching it very closely. So hamed, canucksrig, and jerrod. I think our oath will be from around October 11-17. ;) Hopefully!!!!!! Single applicants usually do get 2 weeks notice so it is coming.
