No I believe I ticked yes. What I meant is that I never thought to bring my CBSA report to the interview nor to order it.
I myself ticked yes, but still requested for it and brought it. That can show an officer that 1.You are a diligent applicant and 2. You are proactive. That gives him/her no reason to sit on your file on his/her desk. Just my thought bubble! :D

I look at a post here saying better to bring along the CBSA report in the interview, but if we have ticked yes, they can also get it, why do we need to get another one? If both CIC and applicants are asking for that, then CBSA will be very busy.

Yes of course I did and even the officer threw a big thank you while taking a photocopy of it. ;)

I have a hunch that the document helps out a lot on test day.
No. I don't think that really makes a difference. In my case office told me that they have already had my CBSA report and they do not need it. I do believe it is all depending on the officer that is assigned to your case and of course, your case. Factors like number of applicants which require more documentation and cases which require higher rank officer approval could definitely push the timeline of other applicant who assigned to the same officer back. For instance me and vanvanvan have submitted our application in December but both got test date in July 31st but canucksrig got his on July 29th although he submitted his application in January.

To those who are wondering whether I ticked yes on the initial application to let CIC order CBSA report on my behalf YES I did, but still I ordered one around a month before test to double-check my dates because I have 0 stamps for entry into Canada since I've always been using YVR's automated kiosks since day 1 here.

And on interview day the document turned out to be useful as the officer made her own copy and started going over the dates on my initial citizenship application and comparing them with those on CBSA report.

My $.02 if you're waiting for test: order it asap, it took me 35 days to get it.

Voila ;)

Yes its depending on your case. If you didnt give buffer with the dates required it might create a little bump. In my case I applied with 1097 days. It could partly be the reason why Canucksrig got his test date a lil bit earlier coz he probably have way more buffer. But I requested the CBSA report just to be 100% solid sure of my travel history as I was only 99% sure prior to requesting and i dont have much buffer with dates and also to free my mind of any worries :D If you are sure with your travel date declaration and it matches the stamps in your passport and no flaw at all and you have at least a couple of weeks buffer. The likelihood that a CBSA record would be vital is nil. But if you dont have much buffer like me or unsure, the Likelihood that you would need a CBSA record prior to your interview is 100%

I don't know guys. It's anybody's guess I assume. I applied with 1101 days and have decent travel whih included 4 months internship outside of Canada . I have been here in Canada since 2006 so perhaps that helped?
And yes I did take cbsa report along with my application. I hope it all goes smoothly.
