What is 100% sure at the moment is that none of us will get an oath invite for all upcoming july ceremonies (today, 21st and 28th), I just came across an old friend who's been invited for oath on the 28th, he told me he got the letter on July 9th.

I can now confidently forget about oath and the daily ecas check till mid-August, hopefully August 25th is the big day.

Taking into account the number of people taking the test versus the available dates for oath taking, we would be lucky to make it for August 25th.

But let's stay positive :) Hopefully Aug 25th is the big day :)

Quick question guys? Have you guys taken your birth certificate or translation of your birth certificate with you to the test? It is defiantly not a requirement when you submit the application just wanted to know if we need to have that in the test day?

Thanks

I brought my original birth certificate with me. The officer did not even ask for it.

One requires it (maybe), if the citizenship application is based on the evidence of relationship (Canadian parents, etc).

If you have it, just bring it with you :)

Quick question guys.. The instructions For the test invite is in blue paper ( in my case)
Just wanted to double check if that was the case with you all?

The first page is in white and the second in blue.
Is this the norm or Vancouver office is out of white paper?

^Yes white and blue :)

Good morning. TGIF ;D

Here is the link to the test CIC will accept, I think it's only CELPIP, IELTS, or a diploma/degree from an English speaking school:

I'm getting kind of frustrated to see people who've applied after me and already have test dates/oaths.

I applied November 8th and haven't even received a test date yet :(

I applied Early July and my file is ready for a test appointment at the van office for two month now according to the call center...I really wonder how this system works.... :'(

^It's just like any other office or work, some workers are fast, some are slow, some don't care at all... ::) >:(

Happy Monday everyone LOL!
