Citizenship
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 8, 2013.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 8, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on January 30, 2014.

We sent you a notice on May 30, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on June 26, 2014 at 10:04 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Len one applicant whose file was received on jan 2 nd has got his test invite for July 30 th as per the information in your link.

Jan 2nd application with July 30th test date. That's super fast :)

If you have non-English stamp on your passport, it's 100% a good idea to translate those with a copy of your passport, I did translate my old passport and have it with me, and the officer was so happy when I gave her the translation with the copy of my old passport.
The rest document you don't need to make copy, just have the original ready with you for interview.

Test letter says bring the photo copies of Pass port only. But today at my Interview, officer didn't even look at those and he returned my pass port photo copies ( Not sure why they asked to bring pass port photo copies ).

Remaining all Originals is enough. If at all officer feels need any photo copies , there is a commercial photo copy mission with next to them. So don't worry about it.

Received - June24/2013

In Progress - Sept16/2013

File at Calgary office - March 15th /2014

Moved to Vancouver on April 24th & Requested CIC to transfer my file to Vancouver office ...........

File at Vancouver office .... May 10th

Test date ...June 17th

Thanks, your timeline looks very close to mine so either of us could get it first though it is really different case by case.

My time timeline is

2013 Aug 13 sent the application

2013 Sep 8 Approved

2014 July 20 Exam date given .

I have a question to ask , if i wont be able to take this exam on july 20, can i take it later again ? i am out of the country now and can not go back to canada for sometime because of family reasons , i have a valid pr card since 2019 but if i wont be able to make it for the exam date what happens , does any one can help me with this situation of mine pls . or if i take this exam and fail , will i be able to take it again later as as well .
