Vancouver Applicants

I would think that Nanaimo applicants would be taken care by the Victoria itinerant office, even though it's a bit far from Nanaimo. That's what happened with a friend in a small town in SK, she was called to attend test and ceremony at a far away office, and both test and ceremony ended up being in the same day because of that.

but this college is far away from where i lived.
i changed my college and got admission in Douglas college but the problem is that
i got accepted for Jan. batch.
i was late for the Sept batch.
is there any problem for me to change course and take admission in another college but in next session?
how i can show this gap?
am i going to right track?
is there any problem for me in long time like regarding work permit and PR. ?
guys please help me.....

I hope so too. I'll ask a friend for her timeline, she lives in Victoria. And I know some folks who live or lived in Nanaimo, but I'm not sure if they applied for citizenship yet. I'll ask them.

Have you applied for citizenship yet, or are you still going to apply? Are you afraid that this gap will trigger added scrutiny to your application?

I don't understand the question on Work Permit and PR.

It'd be better if you provided more background so we can try to assist you better.

i came form india on 25 july on study base.
i lived with my relatives.
i had been acceptd by the langara college.
i got visa on the base of lanagara college. but that college was far away from my house. and i was in the waitlist in all the courses till the firs date of class(8 sept).
i changed my college. i droped my course in langara.
i took admission in douglas college.
but the problem is that i has been acceptd in jan session in douglas college.
i am free now.
currently am not attending college.

i want to know.
this thing can lead to me in a problem when i will trying to get work permit or PR in future?

i heard from many people that u can change your college.
but am not sure about the gap..
like i came from india for the sept batch but in new college my classes will start in jan.
i called to CIC and talked with the agent they said. you can do this.
plz tell me am i going to the right track ?

Hi, I'm sorry this won't be of help. She says she mailed things in April 2013 and had her oath on December 17th, 2014. Those are the only dates she gave me despite asking for more details. I didn't hear back from anyone else from Nanaimo.

My whole immigration process is over. My processes for PR and citizenship are both relatively quick and easy. But yes, Canada, this country has a lot to do to become true multicultural nation. I'm so happy that I can vote for this general election! ;D

AOR: May 26, 2015
Started processing: June 18, 2015
Sent notice for Citizenship Test: July 13, 2015
Test: July 29, 2015
Ecas to Decision made: August 22, 2015
Received Oath invitation letter: October 27
Oath Ceremony: Dec 11.
