Hello Fellows,
Here is my timeline:
1) Received application: March 15, 2013.
2) Started processing: May 15, 2013.
3) Passed the test: March 19, 2014
I am still waiting. Any idea why it takes so long? I called last month they said it can take up to 6 months after the test for the oath. Before six months I can't do any thing but once the six months is passed I can call them again.
Anyone from March test is still waiting I am the only one?

Everything went very well in the interview. The officer told me you will hear from us in 4-8 weeks.

You make me nervous. I heard stuff like this happened in Surrey office, but not Vancouver. If I were you, I would write a letter to CIC Vancouver instead of calling, asking politely that last time during interview, I was being told 4-8 weeks, but it has been 28 weeks, and I haven't heard anything. Just to check whether my application is not lost.

Yes. I would love my oath date soon. I want to vote in the local elections on 15th November, but I don't think I shall have an oath in time.

Became Canadian citizen today! yay!

Ceremony schedule was 8:15am, not the ceremony but the start of checking of the docs-PR card, COPR and oath notice lol checking was done at 9am! (so if you are late, you will be fine! lol)
CJ had a wonderful speech then oath (in English and French yay!)
then receiving of citizenship certificate then singing of O Canada ;D
91 new Canadians from 26 countries of origin
Finished at 9:50am

location: Rogers Arena ( Legends Suite )

Did anyone had or will have their oath there? ;D

I hear it's before the Canucks game as well! Would have loved to take my oath there.

It's actually much cheaper to perform oath ceremony with 1,000 people at one time rather than 100 for 10 times.

Hey guys! Just want to share my timeline with you. Looks like the Vancouver CIC has been accelerating the process this year, so hopefully I will be among the luckies as well ;D Good luck to all who awaits and congrats to the new Canucks! 8)

3. AOR - May 22
4. Test date - TBA
