Hi All,

I am applying for Super Visa for my mother and need to show her family ties to her home country.

Currently, the society flat mother is residing in not registered with us, but society membership is in Father's name.

Due to Covid we are unable to proceed with transfer of society membership to mother's name and property registration.

So, to show my mother's family ties, if we do valuation of property which is neither registered and not yet transferred to mother will that be sufficient to show home ties?
Thanks

The current place of residence is in father's name and unfortunately he expired recently.

Personal opinion only, but think it should be fine. They're not takng the property as legal collateral, if you explain that she's the heir, should be fine. (Note, I'm not saying this is sufficient to be accepted for the supervisa - don't know the situation - but to the extent property is relevant, doubt it being in spouse's name will matter much).

[Actually just read that you are referring to the property valuation - if it's only the valuation that's in father's name, and the title is now with your mother, very low chance this matters at all.]

Thank you for the reply. My bad. I did not explain the situation well. I have edited the original post.

Actually, the society flat where mother is residing is not yet registered. The society membership is in father's name who expired recently.

Thanks again
