Validity of IELTS while Student visa is under processing

Hello,

I applied for student permit a week ago under SDS category for Jan intake. Now, it can't be ruled out with everything that's going on that my visa will not come in time for Jan intake. I'm planning to defer my course to Sept intake through raising a Web form with new LOA . My IELTS is about to expire in Feb 2021 So, my question is :

1). Do I need to take IELTS again before raising the Web form and submit the new result for Sept intake with LOA since it's expiring on Feb 2021?

or

2). My IELTS scores will be considered Valid even for Sept intake, because I have already filed the application??.


Please do share if anyone has any insight. Thanks in advance.

As they say, your IELTS must be valid on the date you lodge your file.
IELTS score are captured in system when Application is uploaded online. Since you never know when rules get changed, keep yourself updated.
