Validity of Financial Proof

Hi,

I have got financials from my bank and dated March 2017. However, since I am arranging the police certificates, I will be able to submit my application only by April 2017.

Will I need to get new financials dated April 2017 ? What's the validity of financial documents?

It's better to have the financials as recent as possible. I got mine a day before submitting my eAPR

If in case we aren't able to get a day before submitting the PR application, what's the official validity timeline ? Like for the medicals it's a year .

CIC doesn't mention the validity. However, if you take a month old statement, there is no guarantee that the funds are still there. Nothing stops CIC from requesting a bank statement again during an application.

Thanks. Do we need to provide a statement by a Chartered Accountant about our financial status, liquid assets etc. ? It's not mentioned anywhere in the CIC website.
