Hello,
Can anybody explain shortly what are the steps to get an invitation?
My husband started working in a full time job a month ago and we're planning to contact his employer to get the validated job offer.
He doesn't speak French and he has IELTS of 6. Are his chances good?

Its easy if the employer has hired your husband permanently and his employer is willing to support his immigration application.

Procedure is simple and here are the steps

1. Request for validation of a permanent job offer (A-0700-EF)
This form can be downloaded using link at https://cdn-contenu.quebec.ca/cdn-contenu/immigration/formulaires/fr/Embauche_un_travailleur_permanent/FOR_Demande_validation_offre_emploi_permanent_A-0700-EF.pdf

2. Employer has to fill out this form and provide following mandatory documents (must include both documents)
• Registration of the business in the Quebec Business Register
• Company financial statements

3. Following documents will be provided by your husband
• Copy of job offer
• Valid work permit
• Payslips (recent 2-3 payslips)

You husband may also include following documents
• Detailed and up-to-date curriculum vitae
• Diplomas and transcripts

4. Procvessing fee 216 CAD $

Your husband can prepare a bank drafts using following information:
  • Name : Minister of Finance of Québec;
  • with the applicant's name in block letters on the back.

5. Send all the above documents to following address
Direction de l’enregistrement et de l’évaluation comparative
Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration
285, rue Notre-Dame Ouest, 4e étage
Montréal (Québec) H2Y 1T8
CANADA

The decision (whether accepted or rejected) of validated job offer shall be sent to employer (through email first and then postal letter). Your husband will periodically remind the employer that they may receive an email or postal letter for his VJO application

If all the documenst are complete and geniun, they should expect the decision in 3 - 4 months (average).

Once your husband receives the decision for validated job offer, he will need to create a profile and submit an expression of interest at Aarima portal Quebec using create an account on the Arrima platform .

Those with validated job offer outside the Montreal region will receive the CSQ invitation in next round (usually there is a round of invitation every 2 weeks).

If you have any question or need clarification, please feel free to write here. All the best to your guys

Hi powereng1982,
Thank you for the detailed response!

My employer and I are filling out the application together. We went through the information in the sections listed here and still can't figure out how to fill in the areas:

- I'm a web designer and we're not sure that there is any professional association in my field.
https://pasteboard.co/0XoqinGNQtvo.png
- Do we need to fill this part (I've already been employed for 1 year)?
https://pasteboard.co/XR7EAKV4dfyM.png
- How to properly fill this part?
https://pasteboard.co/dYU9w2cUMSHO.png

Could anybody tell me how to deal with those areas, or point to the right docs that could explain what to do?

All the parts in Section A need to be filled out completely.

Yes, empoyer has to write about the necessary skills i.e speciic course/degree/training or previous job experience related to tasks for current job

- How to properly fill this part?

Write the tasks/roles that you are working on. Write most important tasks and their work load in percentages

Its just one form to fill and thats all simple.

Yes you should prepare a bank draft of 216 CAD $ from your bank against the name of "ministre des Finances du Québec;" and give it to your employer

I may take 3 months. If everything goes well, you should expect a result by the end July.

MII will notify your employer through the email first and then physical letter is usually received in 1-2 weeks.
