I came to Toronto with my son in 2017. I have visitor visa that will expire on May 2024 and my son has a study permit. He had also visitor visa but it was expired 4 months ago. Now, we stay legally in Canada with different status. My son who is 11 years old, has study permit which will expire on 30th september 2018.
A few days ago, I have applied online for study visa for me . In this application's process, with respect of directions of Offical website of Canada that I also filled out a form named as (Application to change conditions, extend my stay or remain in canada as a student IMM 5709) for my son because of accompanying with me.
My questions are as below,
1. In addition, can I also fill out different form for getting new visitor visa for my son inside Canada (Application to change conditions, extend my stay or remain in canada as a visitor IMM 5708). As it is known that study permit is not enough to return to Canada, he has to have a valid visitor visa.
Avoiding multiple applications, which ways that I have to follow for my son. Should i wait for result of my application about study visa ?
2. Should I also apply for new visitor visa inside canada to get visitor visa ? If yes, form of IMM 5708 is true or not to get new visitor visa inside Canada ? As far as I understand that according to offical website, online application of visitor visa inside Canada should be applied with IMM 5708.
How can my son get visitor visa again inside Canada avoiding losing other status and multiple application ?
Please explain steps that we should follow.
