Vacation pay after my work permit expires , OK??

I have some bank time and vacation pay, Can it be paid after my work permit expires???

I am not an expert, but common sense tells me that vacation time is based on hours worked. Banked time is also hours worked, and all those hours were worked during the time you had a valid work permit, therefore, you should be paid even though your WP has now expired. Just be sure to have documentation stating exactly what the payment is for.
