VAC New york post-PPR submission question

It would have been much more faster if vfs were quick in sending docs to IRCC. I hope yours comes in a day or two. I was told that after receiving docs back from IRCC then vfs would take 1 to 3 business days in sending those docs back to you. May be you should plan to pick yours in person from newyork to meet your upcoming travel next weekNo not yet
Thanks . Just got an email stating that the profile is updated. And upon checking they have given valid visa till May 11 2022. I got an update on Friday that our passports are dispatched to NY VFS from IRCC. I immediately called NY VFS and asked if I can pick up , but they said the walk-ins are closed until further notice but requested to drop an email to info.canny explaining the situation along with the flight tickets as proof. I emailed on Friday afternoon but did not get a reply to the email yet, but received a status update the on Friday evening that the passports are sent via the preferred courier and also the FedEx tracking numbers.Did you receive your passport back from vfs?
As of now the the estimated delivery is Tuesday by EOD 8 PM and my flight is on Wednesday evening. Hopefully there wont be any other delays on the FedEx front.
On a different note, looks like they are giving the PRTD for only two months, previously the validity of PRTD used to match with the medical expiration date , but not now. I need to travel to Canada as soon as I am back from my current trip.
Also my AOR is Feb 19 2019. It got delayed as we welcomed a new member to our family and need to wait to add the dependent and wait for the new PRTD and the new process(after Dec 2021) delayed even further due to the covid and now I am getting my travel docs.Is your application for Canada pr via express entry?

I thought they would give co pr validity to end of medical records as well

did you send each of your family members passports in separate envelope to vfs like me and got 3 tracking numbers?Also my AOR is Feb 19 2019. Here is my timeline for co-pr passport submission for express entry
1) passport submission from IRCC received on feb 11, 2022
2) sent my passports on feb 14 to vfs
3) they received them on feb 15th early morning
4) received vfs tracking number on March 4th for US born kid and March 7th for me and my wife
5) IRCC made a decision on it on March 14th
6) Received passports back from vfs on March 16th
and validity is until 1 year after medicals given date.
Overall it was really painful process working with vfs due to lack of their transparency/tedious process on the application process but thanks to many members of this group who helped me

Hey, when you re-sent your photos to vac New York, did you generate new shipping labels through the VFS website? Or did you just go to a fed ex nearby and created shipping labels in fed ex store? What did you include in the package to make sure when received by VFS it’s linked to your application? I made a mistake and only sent 1 consent form. I want to send it ahead and not wait for their email. Hope you can help. Thanks.Here is my timeline so far if it helps others:
* Fedex package delivered to VFS NY with Original passport: Feb 10th 2022.
* Haven't heard anything from them for weeks (tried chat and email but received standard response that they were slammed).
* Finally got an email from VFS on Mar 4th stating that my passport photos were incorrect size. (None of the photo studios near by were doing 5x7 and I presumed the standard US size will do, my bad! ).
* Sent a new Fedex with package with 5x7 size photos (Finally found one which was an hour away from my place!) that was delivered on Mar 8th.
* Same day (today) got an email stating that it has been dispatched to IRCC for processing.
I guess now it's my time to wait for IRCC to finish processing and VFS to ship the passport back to my home. Hopefully should be done in the next week or so. Fingers crossed.

I walked into FedEx and created a new label. VFS clearly mentioned what documents they are expecting from me so it was easy to cross verify.
In my case, they needed the new photos along with the shipment confirmation receipt. They also mentioned that the shipment confirmation receipt can be sent via an email. They also asked me for a new TT consent form earlier before they opened my package. So don’t worry, unless there’s something else they need, you should be fine to send a soft copy via an email. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if this is something you can do upfront or need to wait until they get back to you asking for it.
