VAC Dubai ask for more fees money after PPR

Hi all,

My sister in law and son got their TRV approved. She went to submit the passports at VAC Dubai, they asked for the biometric fees for her 4 years old son, which unfortunately she paid before consulting me. I paid online for both visas and her biometric fees for a total of 285 CAD. Why did they take money for something not required, what is the action I can take.

When did they applied. We applied April 27 but didn't heard anything back yet.

Maybe raise a CSE with the CIC and VAC receipts and ask for a refund to CIC?

Tried calling them yesterday but I had to wait for 15 mins waiting. I'll call the VAC directly on Sunday with a little tough tone.

VAC Dubai doesn't give any info, just gives standard replies which have nothing to do with questions ask. Poor service.
