Hey guys needs urgent help/ advice.
I have a V1 - Multiple entry visa which is expiring on September 2022. I’m currently in my home country visiting my dad as he head a heart attack. I’m flying on Friday (22nd April 2022) in less than 4 days. I wanted to ask if I’ll be allowed to enter Canada if my visa is expiring in 5 months?
Or do I need to have a visa which is valid for more than 6 months to re-enter Canada?
Please help!

hi, you can enter Canada even on the last date of visa validity. the length of stay will be determined by the border officer, if not you can stay 6 months and this has nothing to do with your visa expiry date.

1. You can enter Canada on your TRV up to midnight on the date the TRV expires.
