hii sukh 420, my cousin has also applied from sydney office under federal skilled worker noc 4131. applied in april 1st aor 14th april 2010.full docs send on 14th october.and he has also got the exact same email from sydney visa office on this tuesday and ask to submitt the same.he talked wid his consultant and they said all the people from sydney visa office who have crossed 1 year after full docs submition have got the same email on same day.there are lot of people who got the same mail.so i think sydney office is doing something. regards

After 7 hours of hard work . I have gathered all the updated documents and just posted it. It will reach by tomorrow. Hope they will process it faster as I did.

Hii again Sukh,
I feel u should not be in a hurry to send the docs this week...In my opinion, if it is possible, pls follow and pursue with passport authorities and if possible, pay extra money (in some cases like Tatkal in India ) by paying extra fee, one gets a passport in a weeks time...
If u can manage the above, so it will save u the hassle of making explanations and cover notes and sending the passport copies later on...also it will avoid the delay in processing ur file if VO gets all docs requested in one go !!
If u think u can make it in lets say 40 days and u have 45 days from the date of the letter, then still its worth to wait and arrange all the docs what say other friends and seniors ??
Further, pls note that if u are not using ur surname and facing the problem with form validation even by using NA as suggested by dear Mitali, then pls copy paste ur given name in the Surname field and it should be fine and u will be able to validate the form ! (even i dont use a surname - its not on my passport also, but CIC gives my given name as surname field- so no worries on doing that- they will understand)
Last but not the least, as pointed out by qorax and mitali in previous posts, pls arrange for all updated letters of experience as u have got more experience now and any other diplomas, certifications, references etc. could be a plus for ur application processing !

Thanks for the suggestion, actually I did inquire about Tatkal passport Scheme but that service is not in Australia. It will take at least 2 months and I submitted my application for renewal just day before V O email, And I am sure I am not gonna get my passport within 45 days. Indian Consulate here is too busy and slow in these sort of process. I have used my middle name as family name. I have gained one more year of my professional experience since I lodged my application. I updated Visa Office 3 months ago already. Today I have sent copies of those reference letters again. I did my best Thanks for you, Mitali and Qorax for making it quick for me.

I am afraid if using middle name as family name would be appropriate ?
If anyone in ur family who are mentioned in ur immigration application use another family name, then it could be a problem, pls seek advise if it is so from the seniors..
