using super visa insurance !!!

hi everyone, my mother currently living in Canada with super visa and I purchased for her the medical insurance from manulife, if I need to use this insurance for emergency purpose and next time when I buy it again are they going to raise the amount for this insurance? or it will remain same . answer will be really appreciated . Thanks

Like any insurance if you claim then the premium could increase given the insurance company bases premiums on perceived risks of a claim so if you claim the risk goes up of a future claim. This is why people shop around when they need to renew, sometimes they get a better deal sometimes not.

Of course buying insurance there are many factors the companies consider such as age, existing active medical conditions, medical history and then previous claims, all about risk assessment for the insurance company.
