PR approved for one of my friend who use the work permit extension letter to claim additional 50 points,AOR -mid Jan
PPR -mid Jan.Stay Positive.Good Luck

one person got PPR by only submitting a reference letter from employer stating permanent full time job. the letter doesn't say 1 year after PR .. and also it's not an offer letter.
