My birth certificate does not have my name on it. But 10 grade certificate has - my parents name, my name, my date of birth, so does my school leaving certificate. In India 10th certificate is considered as Birth Certificate, could someone CEC gurus tell me, if same valid for Canada as well?

No need to be notarized. CEC well known about indian origin applicant where they mostly don't attach their birth certificates. So they accept your 10th certificate if not you need to provide an affidavit (from lawyer) for the birth certificate.

Yes it's 100 % valid and no need of notarization...
Recently I did mine and they accepted.. So go ahead blindly..

Don't forget to send a explanation letter i.e. sending SSC certificate instead of my birth certificate as I don't have one.

All Immigration programs where the birth certificate is not available.
