If i fill the online form on behalf of my parent...do I need to check "use of a representative" or not?

Yes it will. You’re now act as an representative of your parents on this application.
My parent did visit Canada before and their application was done thru an agency. But this time I did it myself coz my parent cant communicate in English well.
I thought representative was someone from an agency that why I didnt choose this option.
So what do you advise me in this case?

a representative can be a family member. add the representative form and have your parents signed.

Form and bio already submitted since end of March...no update yet.
No need. In 2019 I applied for my father in law as I was him and it worked. I used GCKey and uploaded all my applications and docs online. He got his visa without any issues. When you applied, did you verify how many days was the processing time at the time when you applied?

Processing time is 44 days.
Do u think it be an issue when arriving at the border since my mum dont speak english ( but i will accompany her)

It won't be an issue. Border has nothing to do with the Visa officer in the Embassy who makes the decision about visa. Airports receives thousands of people every day who don't speak the language, so it won't be an issue, they use google translators if they don't have a translator who speaks the language on place.

If processing time is 44 days, then you have relax wait 44 days after biometrics are done. After that time is passed, you can start worrying.
