Use of Indian Passport after citizenship

Hello,

This post is for my husband. He drives truck to USA from Canada and goes there multiple times a week. He will be getting his oath done on 28th feb. after the oath we want to get his legal name changed before he gets his canadian passport. In the mean time can he continue using his indian paspsort to go to USA or not. even If name change wasn't in scene, it takes a week or two to get his citizenship certificate in and then getting a canadian passport it takes some time. In that time how he can continue working to USA.

Wouldn't he need the PR card when entering Canada with an Indian passport? PR card will be destroyed at the Oath.

Since a delay in citizenship certificate and hence passport could jeopardize his work, you could perhaps request for urgent processing.
