Posting on behalf of a friend - I am a refugee travel document holder and would like to visit my aunt in US who had a heart attack last month. What are the documentation that I need to provide ? Do I need to bring any documentation from my aunts family like an affadavit of support or anything?

Problem is not what kind of documentation required, but i think big problem right now is wait time to get appointment if you are applying for visitor's visa. I google State Dept from Vancouver US Consulate, wait time is 436 days

The 77 days is not true. It is when you log in and see for yourself. The google says 77 days but in reality quebec is not even accepting appointments.

If he is renewing the visa, ( he had a visa that expired in 24 months) he can renew it without going to embassy.
If he is first time applicant, he can contact embassy for early appointment (emergency only)

PM for more details
