hi friends, as we all know flights from US is relatively cheaper. I am thinking of applying for a transit visa but before applying I just want to know how hard is it to get this sort of visa? have you applied and got one? or do they still refuse for transit visa? thanks for your help.

anyone with such experience?

You may be approved - but you could also be refused. It's really impossible for any of us to say. (And yes - they still refuse transit visas.) Best to avoid transiting through the US to avoid complications if you can.

I agree with scylla. Visa approval completely depends on your interview with VO & how s/he interprets your case. But fortunately I got my B1/B2 visa with 10 year validity & now I'm flying through US.

hi there, thanks for replying..
again, I want to know what type of questions they asked?

I just want a transit visa because flights are really cheaper from the US than from Canada.

Hi, you're welcome. I can understand your concern. The biggest question they ask is "why do you want to visit the states ?"
Other questions depends on case to case like they may ask what's your background, etc.
