Usa tourist visa for Canada visiting parents

Hi,
We are PRs in Canada and Indian citizens . My parents are visiting us soon on visitors visa and we would like to take them to USA... can anyone help me in knowing the process and if it’s better if we could apply from India or Canada for their US tourist visa.
Appreciate your help as there are long wait times for us visa in India.

Its better to apply from back home (India), US embassy from India, as its country of their residence. It ll hard to get US visit from Canada while your parents will be on visiting status in Canada too. If they are PR or working, then its different story

There are very long wait times for US visas in Canada as well. Right now they are booking interviews for 2023.

You can try applying and then hope to secure an earlier interview. However you should be prepared that it may not be possible for your parents to get a US visa this year. It may take until next year before an interview slot is available.
