Dear All

I have 40 days left to complete my application after ITA, I submitted my fingerprints to FBI and it got rejected due to low quality. Rejection letter is asking me to reprint my fingerprints. Do I need to fill a fresh application and pay again $18? or I can just resend my fingerprints?

Please advise.

new application to be sent with a new fingerprint card. so yes you will have to pay $18 again. the process is very quick so I wouldn't be too worried about the 40 day deadline.

Great! Thanks Viki
preferably try and get it done at a police station. I got it done at this police station where they printed it out on the fbi card rather than hard ink rolling.

I got it from fastfingerprint
I went to police station but did not have any idea about it and said that only criminal’s fingerprint they take. :(
I gave 35$ to fingerprint agency Nd it got rejected

You can also opt for electronic fingerprint option which will have less chance of getting rejected. In case for ink fingerprinting, I would suggest to have fingerprints on multiple FD-258 cards and send all copies to FBI CJIS.

I believe you should not have to pay the $18 again. What does the rejection letter state?
I have gotten my FBI PCC request rejected for the same reason: poor fingerprint quality. I contacted FBI about this via email and they clearly stated that you do have to pay again and send in your new fingerprint card as a new application.
