Hi,
I was rejected by USA embassy as a F1 visa on January, 2018 and after that I applied a japan tourist visa, and I got it, when I landed to airport immigration officer deported me to India without reason,
Now I want to apply for the Canada Tourist visa, my question is where it says
"
have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave canada or any other country
"
I need to mention both countries ? usa refusal and Japan deport?

will this impact bad on officer?

Yes, you must mention both incidents. Failure to do so will probably result in you being investigated for misrepresentation.
It will have a possible negative effect on the application but it completely depends on the circumstances. You will have to show good reasons why you are a genuine visitor and that you have very strong ties to your country of residence.

Hi,

1. What was the reason for your F1 refusal?

2. Were you held at a detention center or an immigration center and then deported from Japan? Or were you refused entry at the port of entry because you did not have sufficient finances, or you didn't have a return ticket, or you had prohibited items?

3. And if you have been deported by Japan then you've been probably banned as well. For how long you have been banned would depend on the reasons you were deported. This implies, you must declare the ban in your TRV application (if it was deportation and if you were not denied entry at the Japan port of entry)

1. The reason was a common, Interview was good but in the end, the officer gave me a paper "f1 visa refusal 214b"

2. When I arrived at Narita Airport Officer ask me questions why you come to Japan, why you travel alone, why you do not have a travel history, he misbehave a lot, He told me to show me the funds, I showed $800 cash and 3 credit cards, he looked at my credit cards and match the card name to my passport, everything was fine, he told me that where will you travel first, I replied him, Disneyland Tokyo tower and some other places, He told me to explain day vise where you will go, I showed him paper that I will visit these places, He told me to speak each and everyday schedule, I replied him that it is difficult to pronouse japanese name, I searched on google, there was a translator between me and him, in the end he told me that I am deporting you sign on papers, The reason he mentioned to Indian aiport was "Purpose of travel not clear" and he gave me the papers, on that it was mentioned that if I do not agree with this decision, I may appeal and I appealed, they are investigating this and my case is on forword to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so basically officer mentioned that Purpose of travel is not clear. I had a return ticket, hotel booking, funds, my visiting card, each and everything was correct. :(

but when I received the passport from India, the officer told me that you can apply to any country including Japan, no problem at all. that was your bad luck.

3. No, I did not receive any banned papers

Again, were you held at a detention center or an immigration center in Tokyo before you were deported?
Was your passport handed over to airline staff prior to your flight and it was returned to you only after you landed in India?
Were you issued a departure order or a deportation order?
Or do you have an 'Entry refused' stamp in your passport?

1. When I was standing on immigration process, showed the document to lady police officer, she asked me question are you travel alone for tourism, I replied her yes after that she called to her office and that officer told me to sit in the waiting room. and that was a waiting room.

2 Yes, my passport was handed over to the airline staff and I received my passport when I landed to India.

3 There are 3 stamps on visa page, one is a departure from India on March 11, 2018 and second is Arrived in India on March 12 and Third stamp is by immigration officer japan which says "immigration inspector" The stamp is of Black color

Based on your posts and to the best of my knowledge, there were no grounds for deportation in your case. You were simply allowed to return to India because you did not meet the entry criteria for Japan + you returned at your expense (right?)

Nonetheless, I suggest you show the third stamp ('Immigration Inspector') to someone who knows Japanese to reconfirm whether or not it is an 'Entry denied' stamp.

Deportation is a serious matter as compared to Entry denied. Deportation from Japan would also mean a ban of 1 year/ 5 years or 10 years depending on the circumstances.

You would want to be doubly sure before you provide incorrect information about a deportation from Japan in your TRV form. Do check with Japanese immigration authorities first before you apply for a TRV

1. I had a return ticket on Japan on March 24, so yes I returned at my expenses but before that air hostess came and requested me that you need to pay $168 more because this flight is costly, I replied her that I have a money but I don't want to pay, because I am insulted with no reason. She smiled and says it okay no issue

2 on the third stamp, it is a round stamp - on top it says "immigration inspector" and on the bottom, it says "India airport district immigration officer"

3 okay from now I use the word "Entry denied" :)

so USA F1 refusal does not matter to Canada ??

The Japan stamp won't have 'India airport district immigration officer'

Please check with someone who knows Japanese + Japanese immigration authorities.

Such assumptions could be completely wrong and can have dangerous repercussions.

You would need to declare the US refusal as well. Failure to declare visa refusals and refused entry can lead to a 5-year ban for misrepresentation

Okay I will confirm from Immigration of Japan, but I red the paper which officer gave me while entry deny, it says "In case of Failure to leave Japan Until the departure date mentioned above (above date was March 12, 2018, by officer) you will be taken deportation procedures, so that means I am safe, that was entry deny order from officer"

Yes, definitely I will mention both the reasons while filling the form.

Thank you for your help, I understand the difference between entry deny and deportation
