Dear Seniors ,
I am travelling from Pakistan to Canada to perform our landing formalities . I selected the following route :

Lahore------London----Chicago-----Edmonton

Either i will be required get transit visa for UK and USA or not ? seniors kindly advise

seniors please advise ?

You'll definitely need a US visa.

If you are travelling through UK on Pakistani passport, you definitely need UK ATV (airport transit visa) too even if you have onward Canada visa.

It would be cost effective if you take PIA Lahore-Toronto-Edmonton route, I guess.
Toronto-Edmonton would be westjet flight, you should be able to book through PIA.

I did booked Karachi-Toronto-Saskatoon flight least year.

You don't require UK Airport transit visa for London, but for US , you do ...
You’ll need a visa to pass through the UK in transit (unless you’re exempt)
Exemptions

You don’t need a visa if you have one of the following:
a visa for Canada, New Zealand, Australia or the USA (this can be used for travel to any country)
a residence permit issued by Australia or New Zealand
you have a common format residence permit issued by an European Economic Area (EEA) country or Switzerland
a resident permit issued by Canada after 28 June 2002
a uniform format category D visa for entry into a country in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland
an Irish biometric visa
a Schengen Approved Destination Scheme (ADS) group tourism visa where the holder is travelling to to the Schengen country that issued the visa
a flight ticket from the Schengen area, if you can prove that you entered the Schengen area in the previous 30 days on the basis of a valid Schengen ADS visa
a valid USA I-551 Temporary Immigrant visa issued by the USA (a wet-ink stamp version will not be accepted)
a valid USA permanent residence card issued by the USA on or after 21 April 1998
an expired USA I-551 Permanent Residence card issued by the USA on or after 21 April 1998, with a valid I-797 letter authorising extension
a valid standalone US Immigration Form 155A/155B issued by the USA (attached to a sealed brown envelope)

All visas and residence permits must be valid.

Hi,

I am planning to travel to Montreal via London. However I will taking British Airways to London and Air Canada to Montreal. I have heard that for those having permanent resident visa does not required to have a UK Transit Visa. But as I will be changing airlines, I would need to collect baggage, which required a UK Transit Visa.

Please advise if this is correct.

I am from India.

Yes it may require visa if you need to collect baggage but usually the airline career make arrangements for your final destination baggage pickup. You should speak to your airline about this; baggage collection at transit is not a good option/idea. you better speak to your airline or check other airline options...
Please check the web reference posted earlier...

Hi,

I am a Srilankan passport holder, will be travelling from New York(British Airways) via Heathrow to Srilanka (Srilankan airlines) in this coming October 2017. May I know, what kind of visa will I need, if I intend to pass the immigration in Heathrow since I have a 10h of transit time walk around.

Thank you.
