Hi All,
I studied full-time for my PhD in the US while taking a part-time position as a research assistant in the same department. My offer letter and proof of employment both address my detailed duties as a research assistant but do not mention work hour information.
I was under US F1 student visa that allowed a maximum of 20 hours of work per week. Will it help if I acquire a letter from the school’s international center to address this work-hour limit?
My pay stubs only show my earnings in shifts, not hours or units. However, my earnings are calculated based on the 20-hour/shift principle. Will IRCC accept this as proof of work experience?
