US Visitors Visa (B1/B2) for Canadian PR holders who lived in US on F1 Visa

Hi,

I am moving to Canada from the US sometime next month and would like to know whether will I be eligible to apply for a US Visitors Visa once i do the landing in Canada?

I have a US F-1 Visa on OPT which is valid till June 25, 2018.

Once this expires or before it even expires, can I apply for B1/B2 to U.S?

Anyone hurdled through this situation before?
