US Visitor Visa

Anybody applied for a US visitor visa right after they became permanent residents but do not yet have a job in Canada? If so, could please share your experince? I would love to know if it was successful or not and what procedure you followed and what supporting documents you provided.

It still depends on the nation of your passport, so you may have to specify that to hear similar cases.

My spouse applied for US visa right after she landed as a PR only 1 days, however she doesn't have any job in Canada ( she was on maternity leave )

There was no any issue.

I just applied for mine 2 weeks ago. Had the interview 5 days later and received my passport last Friday.

No issue that I can think of, although I had tons of supporting documents, they never asked for any, none! These were the important questions:

What do you do for living?
When, where & why are you going?
For how long are you planning to stay in the US?

In my case they gave me 3 months single entry.
