Hi All,

I applied for a US visit visa on my company's behalf and paid the fee. However, due to the unavailability of interview slots I couldn't make it to the interview. I wouldn't have been able to make it to the event had I taken the available interview slot which was at a later date.

Will it be considered as a refusal considering I never made it to the interview and was not actually refused. An application was submitted only. Should I declare this as a refused visa in my PR application or should I just skip it?

What ended up being the status of the application? Did you withdraw it formally? There must have been some sort of status at the end (refused or withdrawn or canceled or something). I would double check this isn't classified as a refusal since you didn't end up attending an interview.

If you aren't sure, you are better off saying it was a refusal even if you aren't 100% sure and then providing the details in an LOE.

It seems like I can still appear for an interview on the fee paid from 2019 :D(see below snippet). Does this imply that this wasn't a rejection considering the consulate can't give me a status saying I never appeared for an interview? I was thinking of not mentioning this in rejection and instead, attaching an LOE with this response from consulate.
