Hi Seniors,

I am the secondary applicant and got ITA 1 month back. Now while filling the application form i have one doubt regarding my US student visa rejection.

What reason should i write in the application because i was not given any refusal letter or stamp on passport regarding denial of Student VISA.
Visa officer only verbally told me that we are not granting you visa and given my passport back. After 1st rejection i again scheduled an appointment and again rejected . Then i had not applied and changed my plan.

Please advise shall i put yes or no in the PR form.

Hey! So I have already filed my case and went through the same problem because my visit visa to the US was rejected twice with no reasons provided. Subsequently, I was granted an F1 visa and am in the US.

In the statutory questions, I mentioned it as it is. That I was refused twice and the US embassy is not bound to provide me with any reason for refusal.
Im sure the Canadian authorities understand that already.

Many thanks for the input .
So shall i put Yes for visa denial and give the reason as :
I was not given refusal letter for both of my chances and they informed me verbally that we are not giving you student visa this time and given my passport back ?

Yup. I said yes, I was denied B1 B2 visa to the US in the year xxxx with no reason being provided for refusal. Full disclosure and honesty is the way to go about it.

Thanks Salikgilani, I will update them with Yes and give the reason of no formal refusal letter.
