The new specifications for PR cards are similar to Canadian Passport photos 50mmx 70mm, so Walgreens, Costco etc. do take them in their photo studios. I got mine clicked from Costco. Just tell them that you need to get the Canadian Passport photos, which are pretty similar to US passport photos (50mm x 50mm), just the height is little more for Canadian photos.

sraj07,

you last reported being sick and not seen you in the forum for the last few days. Are you really sick or on a vacation break. Did you order gcms ?

All other FSW USA applicants had their BG check start 137-142 days after their AOR. And then they got their PPR 6-10 days after their BG started.

Looks like the same timeline is applicable for PNP US residents as well.

sraj07,

Hold on Man, you are almost there. You still need to go another 20 to 30 days (roughly 3 to 4 weeks). For US residents, as per historical data, it is between 140 to 150 days. Am on 110 and closely behind you. We both will sail through this rough tide.

Good Luck.

May be looking at the current trend, i stand corrected. Think it is 150 to 170

yes raj ,

so shall I wait till I complete 150 days or I will raise gcms now itself ? I guess u and maddy both have ordered gcms before 4 months mark

You have already paid. And you have very few days left before ppr. I think you should go ahead get the gcms now. You will know if there is any issues with your application and take corrective action, if required. I had to apply early since my application was one of the first with BG going back to Not needed. Best of luck.

I guess maddy , your file is already in USA Visa office ... Just I think they are waiting to cross the 150 days mark to hit the PPR button ...

Sometimes, it looks like they are just waiting for the sake of waiting, isn't it? Anyways, I am bracing myself for a long wait: I have a long travel history.
