guys my friend submitted his PR application with an FBI channeler and he received FBI clearance 48 hours after submitting it using this link

CIC approved it


i think we should tell everyone to stop using the FBI but a channeller and save everybody 12-15 weeks !!

They changed the wording to say no 3rd party may be used, your friend likely just got lucky. We also used a channeler but that was before they changed the wording.

"Citizenship and Immigration Canada does not accept FBI police certificates issued by FBI-approved third party private companies. Only police certificates issued directly by the FBI will be accepted."

Just called now out of stress. They're doing September 18th, 2015. Mine should have got there by then, but maybe CanadaPost took an extra long time. I was dumb and didn't get tracking so I hope it even got there.

I just got married and we are still filing inquiries to change the marital status.

Hi all, I just called the FBI and they are currently processing mail for September 22nd.

I just called too since they're a week past when I sent mine in and they still dont have me in the system :'( :'( :'(

He said it may have been held up in customs back in September and could have not reached them....

Eep. That's not good. Hmm.. I should see if I can sleuth out exactly what day we send ours.

EDIT: We sent ours the 23rd, so we'll keep an eye out next week. Still no AOR/SA so I guess we won't send ours yet until SA..

Would it be silly to go out and get fingerprinted again and send in another request just in case it somehow got lost in the mail? It's not really that much money. When does CIC send in that generic form asking for police certificates? Shortly after SA or longer down the line? If I send in one today, I could maybe make it within the 60 days after the request.

Or I don't know if that's just my anxiety talking.
