I got my BGC and PPR 3 days ago, really impressed with the fast processing from Mississauga VO, hasn't even been 5 months since application received (November 16th app). :)

Just mailed the PPR, hoping to get the COPR within a couple weeks.

Best of luck to everyone else!

Wow, this is really hard to read. It must be nice having such a short wait.

Yeah, I'm not bitter or anything, heh... 17 months of waiting, living apart from my husband, is really taking a toll.

We got my husband's CoPR a week after mailing the info to Ottawa. It was pretty quick.

Just wanted to introduce myself here - PennyMac born raised and still live in Ottawa, ON, Canadian, Married to JeffMac from NY, we sent in our package on Thursday April 19 and it was signed by R Mahmoud this morning, Monday APril 23. So now we wait. My husband and I live 1.5hrs apart and we see each other 3-4 days a week. He's never been outside the US until we met, and moved to NY from southern US to as close as we can be until he gets PR.
When we were traveling together around St-Patty's day we were coming into Canada to go to brunch and CBSA made us go inside. We updated our record with our marriage certificate and told them we were submitting our PR paperwork in a few days. The immigration officer told us when we get our case number we can come in and they will issue Jeff a 'dual intent' visa.
I really hope that it doesn't take 100 days for CIC to give us our case #, because with the dual intent my husband can come live with me and move up here on this Visa while waiting for the PR to go through.

I wonder if we can get the dual intent now even though we have no case number, but I do have the proof that it was signed and received in Mississauga. I would be so happy if that was possible for us to do early and I will try this weekend.
He still works in NY state, and would travel to work 5 days a week, but at least we would see each other everyday which is what we want.

Has anyone else had a dual intent while waiting? What do you think we need to know based on your experience?

How detailed is everyone on their goods to follow form?

We only have a few things. We are not moving up an entire house. Just stuff like shoes, clothes, some night stands, a bed frame and headboard, some cheap jewellery etc.....

How detailed do I need to be?

I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my American wife for permanent residency. She just received her passport request today. We are living in the US, and are scheduled to leave here on May 27, as my job here ends on that date and my job in Canada begins June 1. My concern is that we will not receive her COPR before we move. Should we have her COPR sent to the Canadian address we're moving to, and go to the border at the end of May without it? Or should we have the COPR sent here, to our US address, betting that it will arrive in time?

Ottawa is issuing COPRs extremely fast right now (like, within the same week they receive your documents) so I don't think you need to worry about not receiving it on time.
