the "letter" is your COPR

Letter, form, card, announcement, the point was snail mail, not email.
Having said that, I did just now get an email that my application had been updated, logged in to My Application and sure enough, it says I'm approved. I know I still need to wait for the brown envelope in the mail, but the worst is over.

Ok thank you so much for your help. I will try to be patient lol

My eCAS hasn't been updated, but My Application now tells me I'm approved. I hope you will see the same if you log in!

Okay, I am sorry I am about to sound so daft, but should I attach a file in my online enquiry or should I fax in the document?

Also, congratulations on your decision made! That's SO exciting and encouraging!

I've seen people do both, but it says on there not to send the same thing through different means. I personally used the case specific enquiry to send them updated information.

And thank you, it was very exciting. I get to move my belongings before the snow falls. :)

Thanks for your help. My wife faxed in the documents this morning with a well identified cover letter.

This might seem like a dumb question, but here goes:

I have received my SA approval and my husband is "In Process" for the PR application. We both have our own separate email addresses.

I was the one who received the email regarding the SA approval. Will any future emails go only to him, the PR applicant, or do they send them to me as well?

What number to call to change principal applicant's address for COPR letter mailing?

They should go to the PA, but stranger things have happened. ;)

You can change the address on ECAS or send them an email, but there isn't a number to call Ottawa that I could find.

I thought we can only change Sponsor's address on ECAS but not the Principal Applicant's address

If you log into ECAS with the applicant's UCI and info, it should show the applicant's addresses.

Wooh, I just went to check my wife's (principal applicant) ECAS, the address that shows there was my home address here in Canada, which is actually different from the address that we wrote on the application.

Sorry, I could be very wrong. :-[

To be safe, I would send a case specific enquiry with the appropriate address.

Anyone who is a US applicant who went to Ottawa in May still waiting for DM?
